Ash

Ash is a tall and graceful tree, one of the most common in the UK. It’s domed canopy and distinctive winged fruits which fall in autumn are echoed by the curved architechural features of the building.

A quiet room at the back of the building with splendid views down the terrace and garden. The room enjoys morning sun with its easterly facing windows. A pleasure for those lazy mornings. Elm

The building that Holm stands within was built initially from an Elm structure – in fact we managed to salvage some of the beams to make the handles for our steak knives. In the 1950s and 60s, English Elm was decimated by Dutch Elm Disease. Naming our grandest room after this majestic tree signifies the rebirth of the building from its former use into the restaurant and rooms it is today.

The master suite. Supporting a 4-poster bed and a bath in the bedroom along with an en-suite bathroom with double shower. Plenty of space to spread out and relax over a lazy afternoon. Elm is also our dog-friendly room. For more details, do take a look at our FAQs.

Rates from £299 – £359 per night.

Osier

Osier is a type of willow – a tree often used for basket weaving, which was a common trade in the area in pre-industrial times. The name of this room is a reference to our history, our connection to people and the cultural landscape we now inhabit
